Rajarama has over 25 yearsof cross-functional experience in software product development and discrete manufacturing domains. He has diverse experience working for IT and non-IT companies, has experience in project management, program management, managing global teams, strategic decision making, leadership, ideation, scaling up of groups, developing capabilities, process improvements, resource optimization and ecosystem partner development/management.
He is the founder and CEO of ProPMO Services, a PMO consulting company offering to set up PMO on BOT basis, value-added reselling of EPM tools and services and resource augmentation services. He also provides consulting services to new startups.
Previously, he had worked for PTC Software India Pvt. Ltd. (PTC Inc. in the US, a NASDAQ-listed product company with the symbol PMTC) for 17 years, and he handled various functional and management roles and was Director – Global Services at thetime of leaving.
He had worked for discrete manufacturing companies such as Blue Star Ltd., Real Value Appliances Ltd. and Recon Machines and Tools during the initial six years of his career. He worked on design and development of engineering products/consumer durables and project management.
He is a very active volunteer with PMI, and currently, he is volunteer leader as the president and CEO at PMI Pune-Deccan India Chapterfrom Apr 2017 to Mar 2019. He has been on the board of PMI Pune-Deccan India Chapterfor over six years and has provided leadership to initiate new programs andorganize events/programs in Pune and at the national level in India.
