Dr. Rhythm Bhalla, MBBS, MD OBGYN, DNB, MRCOG (London, UK), is a self-employed private practitioner and Laparoscopic surgeon, working at Dogra Nursing Home and Endoscopy centre, Chandigarh, India.
Born in India, into a simple Sikh family, was brought up in Dubai where she completed her graduation at Gulf Medical University. Then after clearing the All India postgraduate medical entrance test, did her Masters in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh. She then did her three years of senior residency at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.
During her senior residency, she developed an inclination towards research and academics, which encouraged her to prepare for the Membership examination of Royal College, London, United Kingdom. Finally, after clearing the MRCOG Part 3 exam in February 2022, she was officially admitted as member of the College on 19th April 2022. While preparing for her MRCOG, she also cleared the Diploma of National Board examination and was awarded the DNB degree in 2021.
Her interest in academics stimulated her to compile this book and share her knowledge with the upcoming batches preparing for the membership exam. She is a firm believer of a saying ‘Work hard in silence, let your success make the noise’.
