Dr.Sapna.M.S is presently working as the Associate Professor, in the Department of Journalism and Communication, University of Mysore. Mysore, Karnataka. She has 17 years of experience and has specialization in Corporate Communication, Electronic Media, and Social Media studies. Her Doctoral Research was on Internal Communication; A Comparative Study between Public and Private Entities,  from the University of Mysore. She has been a recipient of fellowships from Rotary International,  Indo-Sri Lankan Fellowship as a part of her academic achievement. She has guided 10 research candidates successfully and has been a visiting professor to Maldives National University( MNU), Male. The Maldives. She has presented her research papers at various international and national conferences on various facets of media studies ranging from community radio, social media impact studies. Advertising, CSR, and so on. She has bagged the best Secretary award from Public Relation Council Of India ( PRCI), and Best  Media Educator Award ( 2018) from Exchange 4 Media from New Delhi. She has successfully completed various projects which include projects from UGC-UPE, UNICEF. She is also a certified trainer from Factshala-Google India to train individuals and organizations on Media literacy. She is a regular visiting faculty to institutions like Karnataka Police Academy( KPA), Prison Training Institute(PTI), Administrative Training Institute( ATI),   and Human Resource Development Centres  ( HRDC)  , across the country.
