Mohini and Paul love each other but they are not sure if they should get married. She is Indian and he is French. Will they be able to overcome the differences in their two cultures?
They find a way to solve their dilemma. They decide to live together for two weeks so that they can figure out if they can live together all their lives.
Mohini travels to London where Paul is working. When the two weeks are over they go to meet his parents in Avignon. They meet many people and visit historic sites. But do they find an answer to their question? Can two people from two different cultures live happily together?
The story takes place in 1996 when there were no mobile phones and the internet had not yet made its appearance in our lives. It was a time when thoughts and emotions were expressed in a different way. It was a time when geographical distances could keep two lives painfully apart.
The Bridge of Love takes the reader from Pondicherry to London, Aberdeen, Paris and Avignon. Travel with Mohini and Paul and listen to their conversations. Live their love story.
