"It was a wonderful experience interacting with you and appreciate the way you have planned and executed the whole publication process within the agreed timelines.”
Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThis Book is an anthology of poems that are flamed and burnt. The Poetry Book is all that the poetess wrote till date, there is no pretence, no drama, no ambition, only straight talk .It’s a journey of thoughts that were jotted down when something burnt inside her…and was kept alive as cinders.
The poems are live volcanoes that have covered my existence. The orange flickers of fire are the remains of what has already been flamed. The poems are cinders, not ashes. And the Massif is a pile of these leftovers that still may ignite another fire.
Divided into sections, is an intent to segregate. The mountains are often marked by rivers and crossing over from one bank to another will leave you drenched with over whelming sentiments.
These sections are just like that, and one needs to immerse in the emotions first to reach the other side.
The poems are pieces of spontaneity, words flowing from the mind…and yet patterned.
Rhyming was the imitation of the classic and organic poetic style, eventually it turned into the easy free flowing language of prosaic poetry.
Hope you enjoy these chunks of the rather long imaginations…
