Soubhik Chakraborty
A PhD in Statistics, he is currently a professor in the Department of Mathematics, at the Birla Institute of Technology in Ranchi. His research interests are algorithm and music analysis involving the extensive use of computational statistics. He has been guiding several research scholars in these areas and has published two books, two research monographs and about 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals. He is also an acknowledged reviewer associated with ACM, IEEE and AMS. A harmonium player, he recently published a book, Computational Musicology in Hindustani Music with Guerino Mazzola, Swarima Tewari, and Moujhuri Patra.
Prashant Pranav
An ME in Software Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology in Ranchi, he is a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering in Bhubaneswar. He previously worked at COLT Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. His fields of interest are statistical computing, graph theory, networking, and cryptography.
Naela Rizvi
An ME in Software Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology in Ranchi, she completed her B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Radharaman Institute of Technology and Science in Bhopal. Her fields of interest are statistical computing, DBMS and computer networks.
Swarima Tewari
A B.E. in Electrical Engineering and an M. Tech in Scientific Computing, she is currently doing a PhD in Computational Musicology at the Department of Mathematics in the Birla Institute of Technology in Ranchi She is one of the authors of the book, Computational Musicology in Hindustani Music, published by Springer in 2014.
Moujhuri Patra
An M. Tech. in Computer Science, she recently completed her PhD in the area of Computational Musicology from the Department of Mathematics at the Birla Institute of Technology in Ranchi. She is one of the authors of the book, Computational Musicology in Hindustani Music, published by Springer in 2014.
