Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalBaḍugu Person Names Decoded is a collection of person names in Baḍugu which illustrates the aspects of indigenous culture of the Baḍuga tribe. Abstract nouns such as beauty, blackness, greatness, luxuriance, etc. and concrete nouns such as cloud, rain, sun, hill, wood, etc. and material nouns such as gold, silver, and iron are used in giving names to persons. What is so fascinating about the person names themselves is the fact that they are unique to the Baḍugu language.
