Brittle is Riniki’s debut collection of poems. It is a gather of family and childhood, love, loss and memory. Brittle is the fuel the poet wrote with during the pandemic, which guides the pieces to come together as a theme. They are simplistic in form and style, while bolstering vivid unrests to reveal the poet’s path to finding herself.

Riniki Chakravarty Marwein
Riniki started writing for the radio in her college days in India. Her work involved profiling people and places of local significance and preparing notes for announcements. Her writing experience got spanned by a career in the PR industry in Delhi and Mumbai. It was mainly defined by the press releases she drafted and edited for events, corporate and gadget profiling, celebrity interviews and film launches.
After marriage she moved to Singapore. With a travelling husband her write life has been filled by a stab at blogging and scripting for a short film. She was a volunteer assistant with an international school for their social media engagements, with the bulk of her creative energy dedicated to Brittle.
