Dr. SARBJIT SINGH
Dr. Brig Sarbjit Singh (Retd) is an alumnus of PEC Chandigarh, IIT Kanpur, and Punjab University, Chandigarh, India. From 1965 to 1995, he served in the Indian Army. While in the Army, he did M Tech (CSE) from 1970 to 1972 from IIT Kanpur and a PhD in 1991 from Punjab University, Chandigarh. While in the Army, he actively participated with TIFR, Mumbai, and DRDO, New Delhi, to design and implement Real-Time Operations Information Systems (OIS) for the Field Army. He was the founder director of War-gaming in Army HQ, where he closely worked with ISRO Bangalore, and the Surveyor General of India, Dehradun.
Post retirement, he held leadership roles as GM, DSS in McNally Bharat Engineering, Kolkata, Exec Director of India Future Computing software, Mohali, and Exec Director Apeejay College of Engineering, Sohna, Gurgaon. He regularly shares his experiences and thoughts in knowledge-sharing on LinkedIn and his Blog.
