Jesus Christ is worshipped as the Messiah of God in Christian Mythology. Hence, his birthday is one the most joyous ceremonies amongst Christians. Although the festival is mainly celebrated by the followers of Christianity, it is one of the most enjoyed festivals all over the globe. Christmas symbolizes merriment and love. It is celebrated with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm by everyone, no matter what religion they follow.
People welcome the festivities of the occasion by Caroling as it is the best charms of this festival and people used to decorate the Christmas tree with decorative items like lamps, lightning, stars, balls, bells, flowers and put gifts under the tree and it's called as Christmas tree. Christmas is the time when people come along with their family, friends, and spend quality time with them. They bake cookies, cakes, prepare dinner along with and share gifts.
The main celebration starts on 24th December at night, known as Christmas Eve. And next day on Christmas day People visit the church and offer prayer to the Lord Jesus and seek his blessing for pleasure and prosperity. Christmas is an opportunity for Christians and non-Christians to put our thoughts behind in the celebration of a great cause. And celebrate the season of joy, peace and happiness.
