Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThis is a collection of fifty poems gaining origin from the emotional, cognitive and physical experiences of an Indian research scholar with a physical disability in relation to a personal connection he had which was not able to endure in the long run. These are confessional, lyrical free verse poems of a deeply felt but unfulfiled human connection. Rooted in real moments- conversations, shared spaces and quiet exchanges- the poems move between memory and reflection, capturing not only what was experienced but what it meant. Rather than dramatizing or assigning blame, the writing stays grounded in honesty, acknowledging both care and limitation, presence and distance. At it's core, the collection engages with themes of longing, emotional attachment and the difficulty of aligning needs between two people, while also reflecting an existential effort to make sense of what was and what could not continue.
