Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalESSE is a poetic and philosophical journey into the heart of being and the nature of existence. Divided into two mirrored parts, Being and Unbeing, the book explores the full arc of consciousness, from the spark of self-awareness to the ultimate dissolution of identity.
Part I, Being, celebrates awakening, inner essence, transformation, human connection, and cosmic harmony. Through reflective prose and lyrical poetry, it illuminates how existence shapes both the self and the world, revealing the interconnectedness of all life.
Part II, Unbeing, turns inward to the void, ego dissolution, impermanence, isolation, and transcendence beyond being. It meditates on the silence, emptiness, and cosmic stillness that follow the ebbing of existence, offering readers a contemplative space to explore impermanence and the eternal cycle of life and dissolution.
At once intimate and universal, ESSE invites readers to reflect on identity, time, relationships, and the cosmos. It is a work for those who seek depth, wonder, and resonance, a literary and meditative exploration of what it truly means to exist.

Ravi Verma is an Indian writer and software engineer whose journey into the world of words has been as diverse as his upbringing. Born on December 15, 2000, Ravi grew up in an Indian-Tibetan community, moving across various hill stations in India as his father taught at different branches of the Central School for Tibetans. This unique exposure to multiple cultures, landscapes, and perspectives instilled in him a deep appreciation for people, nature, and life itself.
Inspired by his father’s love for writing, Ravi began crafting essays in school, winning competitions and building a reputation for thoughtful insights. His passion for writing flourished during his engineering studies, where he started publishing poetry on Blogspot and received encouragement from family and friends to pursue self-publishing. In 2017, he released his first book, Death: An Indelible Truth, followed by The Fanzy and The Ron Case: Early Works, which served as valuable learning experiences in the world of self-publishing.
Ravi’s writing has since evolved into poetry exploring themes of nature, self-love, healing, and human psychology. His first poetry collection, Breeze, launched the “Embrace” series in 2018, followed by Sprouts and Aqua. Around 2021, he published Amour-Propre and Finding Me from the “Unconditional” series, diving deeper into personal growth and self-acceptance.
Currently, Ravi is pursuing his postgraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur (Batch of 2025–2027), while balancing his work at an IT consulting firm and his enduring commitment to creative expression. Beyond writing and technology, he finds joy in baking cakes, experimenting with impromptu recipes, and cooking heartfelt meals for family and friends.
With a curiosity that never stops wandering and a heart anchored in storytelling, Ravi continues to write with the hope of creating more themed collections that resonate with readers and speak gently to the essence of the human experience.
