Dr. Reshmi G R is an academician who is specifically interested in plant research. She is a rank holder in PG and acquired Ph. D. degree from University of Kerala, Kariavattom Campus. Her area of specialization is plant morphology, taxonomy, phytochemistry and molecular biology. She is a recipient of Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment research fellowship. She authored several national and international publications in her areas. She has published two ISBN international proceedings chapters. She secured “best student award” and “merit scholarship” during her education. She secured 'Best paper award', 'International Excellence Award' and 'Merit certificate' during her research period. She published new chromosome number and polyploidy nature of the genus Acmella, she discovered a new plant species and a variety and also published 3 new plant combinations.
