Shrikant P. Athavale
Shrikant P. Athavale, SPA Technical Advisor’s proprietor and the author of this book, graduated in science in 1973. He then completed his post-graduation in rubber technology from Plastics and Rubber Institute (PRI), London in the year 1976.
He has worked in the rubber industry for over eleven years and in the adhesive tape industry for over thirty-three years in the Manufacturing, Production and Research and Development departments.
He has three Indian patents to his credit. The author has published five technical books and presented his technical papers in international conferences in the USA (PSTC, ASC), MKVS, Munich, Germany, Ichemco, Italy, India (ATMA) and Bangkok, Thailand. He has also presented two technical papers for the Rubber Expo, 2018.
He now runs his own technical advisory firm providing technical know-how in the field of Rubber Industry and Adhesive Tape Industry. He is Technical Advisor for Harrisons Malayalam Ltd. and EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development).
