Dr. Manoj Kumar is a distinguished faculty member in the Department of Zoology at St. Xavier's College, Ranchi. Holding M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in Zoology from Ranchi University, he is recognized for his extensive research contributions, with over 85 published popular articles in reputed national and international journals and a high citation index and 6 books to his contribution. His primary research interests include green nanotechnology, particularly the synthesis of nanoparticles using plant extracts, as well as entomology, insect diversity and taxonomy, earthworm studies, and phytochemistry. Dr. Kumar is also highly regarded for his engaging teaching style, integrating his research insights to enrich the curriculum and foster a supportive learning environment for his students.
Dr. Bharti Singh Raipat is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Zoology at St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, with extensive teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Holding M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees, she is a dedicated researcher whose work often focuses on environmental science, including topics like biosorption of heavy metals, green nanotechnology (synthesis of nanoparticles using plant extracts), and entomology.
