'HANG THE TEACHER & Other Stories' starts with a story when I was in Standard 5th. As I grew up and went to High School, then College and finally joined India's largest public sector bank, SBI, the other stories unfold.
All the stories portray real-life events and experiences, depicting the human emotions that happened to me, either as a character or a spectator. I have altered a few orders, names and sequences. I have curtailed few details but everything that follows happened to me.

Once, a banker colleague and close friend asked, "Being a banker by profession and that too working in SME advances, how could find time to write stories? After reaching home at 9.00 PM, I feel completely fatigued!"
I ridiculed, "Can you deny your wife and children for a dinner-out on a weekday, reaching home late, after office?"
My friend riposted, "How can I? They are the love of my life!"
I replied with a smile, "Then how can I ignore an invitation for a trip to the countryside, the mountain top, seashore or any other place? I love my characters!"
