Ultrasound imaging is a boon technology in medical imaging with some limitations as the poor quality of imaging due to speckle noise. Due to this behavior, Doctors and Radiologists feel uncomfortable in diagnosis of a patient because of sometimes clinical details looks like speckle noise or, sometimes speckle noise look like clinical details. That’s why despeckling is very important in ultrasound imaging. This book tells about the hybrid methods for speckle noise denoising in ultrasound images.
