Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalIn Search of Self… Part 3 is a tender tapestry of memories—woven from childhood memories, sisterly bonds, bygone moments, and the quiet wisdom that only years can bring. In these heartfelt poems, Mridula Seth looks back at a life lived fully: its joys, sorrows, turning points, and its small, unforgettable moments of grace.
Each poem carries the warmth of a memory held close—the laughter of family, the ache of loss, the tenderness of caregiving, and the comfort of faith that has accompanied her through changing seasons. These poems do not rush. They pause, breathe, and invite the reader to walk gently through their own recollections.
In Search of Self… Part 3 is a warm companion for moments when the heart needs remembering.

Mridula Seth is a lifelong learner and life skills practitioner. Her passion for working in adult
education and mental health have given her a purpose for continuing her journey in life. While the experience of working with people living with mental illnesses (PMIs) is humbling and rewarding, it comes with emotional turmoil and the conviction that happiness is a learnable skill for channelizing negative feelings into positive energies. In capacity building of field level functionaries, using participatory approaches, she finds four decades of her experience of teaching, research and community work most exciting and gratifying. She has shared her insights on volunteering in mental health in her book “Minding the Mind” (2020). This is her third book of poems as she continues In Search of Self: the journey continues…
She is a former Fulbright post-doctoral research fellow and recipient of Tagore Literacy Award for her work in adult education.
