Mithra Chidambaram
Mithra Chidambaram is an 11-year-old fifth grader who lives with her parents and her younger sister in Frisco, Texas. Mithra enjoys art, dance, and story-writing. She also reads an outrageous number of books, big or small. Her friends consider her creative, known for her artistic talent; Mithra is a four-time-published artist. She loves puppies, but unfortunately, she isn’t allowed to have one. She hopes that one day she can adopt a dog. What started as Mithra’s fourth grade school assignment blossomed into a full-scale fantasy adventure. When she completed her book, she decided to illustrate it herself and put her artistic skills to work. Some nights, while lying in bed, she talks to her sister about her story - cooking up ideas for her next book, brainstorming names for new characters, or discussing plot twists late into the night.
