Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalLaw, Justice and Globalization : Amity Law School, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus organized the two days International Seminar on the topic,’ Law, Justice and Governance: Issues & Challenges’ on the 13th & 14th February 2020. The seminar was a huge success and had an overwhelming participation of over Hundred and fifty Participants. Various themes were set by the Organising Committee to highlight the issue of Law, Justice and Governance such as Law, Justice and Liberties – International Scenario, Socialism in India – Binary effect with Judiciary and Constitution and Political Governance in India – A Social Insight.
The theme of the Seminar focussed on the aspect that Good Governance is a crucial issue in the world today particularly once when people are discussing human rights and democracy. It concerns with: transparency, accountability, justice, fairness and participation. Among democratic countries, this concept has long been practiced and strengthens human participation and social life in general. In recent times, Good Governance has also penetrated many aspects of human associations, because it is one requirement of making democratic society. The absence of good governance is regarded as one of the root causes of all the evil in society as it is linked to the development of human beings and society.

Dr. Jay Prakash Yadav, Ph.D., NET (Law) (UGC), LL.M., is Professor of Constitutional Law. He has Teaching, Research, Administrative and Practicing Experience at Bar of more than two decades. He was the Founder Director of Jagran school of Law, Dehradun and University Institute of Legal Studies, Chandigarh University as well. His core area of interest is Constitutional Law. He is a Consultant in the field of Constitutional Law. He is a Fellow of The Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary Studies, New Delhi. He is appreciated as a problem solver and a powerful motivator. He has held responsible academic and administrative assignments in Institutes of notable repute. Dr. Yadav is adaptable, honest, accommodatable, soft spoken and an excellent human being. He has guided doctoral research works in Law. He has written several research articles, presented papers, attended and organized many national and International seminars, Workshops, Faculty Development Programs, National Moot Court Competitions etc.
Dr Taru Mishra B.A., LL.B. LL.M., D.Phil. is an Assistant professor in Amity University, Lucknow, since 2013. Dr Taru Mishra has more than 5 years of experience in teaching. from University of Lucknow, Lucknow. Dr Mishra has obtained her doctoral degree in Law (D.Phil.) in “Legal Principal Governing E-Commerce (Online Contract) with special reference to Indian Perspective.” in the year 2014 from the University of Allahabad, Allahabad. Her field of specialization is Mercantile/Business Laws. She has provided guidance to number of Under Graduate and Post Graduate students for the research work (Dissertation) over 4 years. She was also the active member of Moot Court Committee during her BA.LLB (Hons) progm. in the University Of Lucknow, Lucknow in the year 2002-2007. She has contributed research papers at national and international repute.
Dr. Shashya Mishra has done her BSc from City Montessori Degree College Lucknow. She has completed her LL.B. from DAV PG College Lucknow (affiliated from Lucknow University). Further, she has got her LL.M. degree in Human Rights Law from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University Lucknow, A Central University. Recently she has been awarded for Ph.D. from Babu Banarasi Das University Lucknow. The author has a keen interest in research related to the arena of human rights, Constitutional Law, Cyber law and feminist jurisprudence. She has authored more than 20 research paper along with 3 chapters in book.
