Artificial Intelligence is reshaping industries—yet most AI initiatives never make it out of the pilot stage. They exceed budgets, face ethical backlash, or fail to integrate into real-world workflows. The problem isn’t the technology—it’s the management.
In Managing Innovative AI Projects, Jayakumar K R & Alain Abran deliver the first complete framework designed specifically for the unique complexities of AI. This isn’t another high-level theory book. It’s a practitioner’s guide, built on decades of experience, that equips you to:
- Classify AI projects—from incremental upgrades to disruptive agentic systems—& apply the right lifecycle for each.
- Embed risk management and ethical guardrails from day one, using actionable checklists and governance templates.
- Track what truly matters with tailored KPIs across technical, business, operational, and ethical dimensions.
- Scale AI responsibly—with clear guidance on human oversight, compliance, and model monitoring.
Packed with engineering process aids, ISO-standard frameworks, and phase-by-phase execution tools, this book is your blueprint for turning AI ambition into measurable outcomes. Whether you’re a project leader, C-suite executive, or technical practitioner, this guide will help you deliver AI that is not only innovative—but also trustworthy, scalable & successful.
Stop managing AI like traditional software. Start leading with confidence.
