Srijana Subba happens to be a passionate poet, who loves expressing specially in English. Born to father Phipraj Subba and mother Santosh Mani Subba on 15 December 1980, she lives in Nagri, a lush green small and beautiful tea garden hamlet under the glorious laps of the Queen of Hills Darjeeling. She has completed her B.Sc., M.A. and B.Ed. She teaches at Pokhriabong Girls' Higher Secondary School, Darjeeling. Her articles, papers have been published in renowned journals and magazines.
She loves travelling to various places to represent Darjeeling hills in various literary events. She was facilitated with Sahitya Akademi authors’ travel grant in the year 2014. She participated in a symposium on ‘Challenges of Nepali Translation’ on September 26, 2014 at Mirik. She attended a seminar on ‘Marginalised Languages’ in Guwahati University in 2017 as a panelist. She conducted a poetry workshop for English department at Maniben Nanawati College, Mumbai in 2018.
