A cook at heart, Neena Kamal, is a people’s person. Having spent 15 years in the corporate world as an HR and People Consultant and as a Corporate Trainer, she has worked with MNCs, both mid-sized and start ups. She has worked for MNCs like Veritas, Oracle India, Saama Technologies, Aquapharm Chemicals, Pragati Leadership, etc. Her connection to people started with numerous assignments while working as an HR partner and trainer in competency mapping, performance management, career building, etc.
In her continuous effort to use HR as a ‘people's forum’, she looks for all possible opportunities to understand people and understand their stories. Her focus is to work with decision-makers and leaders and facilitate a totally different outlook towards employees. That outlook is to help organisations respect the talent they have and not just look at it as Human Resource. The outlook also helps both employees and their leaders to create a life for each employee and not just focus on short term gains!
Apart from her ongoing assignments as People Partner and Trainer, her love for reading and writing is her current pursuit of happiness.
