Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalDeath is the only truth in this world. Everything in this world has to perish except Death. It is an inevitable part of life and one day it will take every living being under its shelter. We are all aware of it, but we have never accepted the fact that Death will come one day. We have neither liked it nor loved or welcomed it. When Death comes to our near and dear ones, we feel sad for days, months and sometimes for years. Why? Even though we know it is inevitable? Is it that we feel bad for someone who has left us forever? If it is so, why don’t we cry for so many people dying all over the world every moment and leaving us forever?
The answer is the attachment, the emotions which make us cry for near and dear ones, and not for the body which we mix with the earthly elements by burning or by burying. Thus, the attachment is with the person who remains in the body. Who was this person? It is the soul that never dies. It changes its form from one body to another body and remains attached to this world till the worldly attractions surround him. The day this soul is liberated from attachments, it exits the world and meets the Supreme, the God, never to come back.
Mrithyu Darshan presents the philosophy of Death, the sight of Death, the fear of eternity and how to make way for the soul to meet the Supreme after leaving the body.
