Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalDespite the growing awareness and doubling efforts to Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls (UN SDG 5), the gender gap doesn’t seem to shrink. This anthology of research articles written by experts and scholars from across disciplines and domains: political science, social work, psychology, tourism studies, literature and culture studies gives a refreshed perspective on the Gender Problem.
The book is remarkable in its use of diverse methodologies but is also worded in a lucid language making it a good primer both for students and experts alike. This book brought out by Madras Christian College’s Centre for Women’s Studies in association with Deanery of Research and Development through a series of articles explores, studies and documents why gender equality is still a distant dream.
