Dushyant speaks of how he overcame many obstacles and experiences. Taboos that cloud the judgements of the older generations and affect the lives of younger generations are discussed in the book. Both male and female puberty and other teenage experiences, which is quite a transition, are touched upon.

Dushyant Anil, a curious young voyager, has compiled all his knowledge about adolescent life into this book. He was born to Jayapalashri Anil and Anil Ashwath, a self-made industrialist. His grandmother, Maharajkumari (Princess) Meenakshi Devi, would often narrate stories of her childhood in the palace. Dushyant believes his narrative persona was inspired by her. Raised in a full dose of culture and voyaging the world, he had written over seven books by age 16. Not being the best at academics and sports, he found his talent in the subject of law and running his own business, VernMato. He is a student of law, psychology and commerce, aspiring to be a lawyer and an entrepreneur.
