Omar F. Alhegelan
Omar Alhegelan is a World Champion athlete with a groundbreaking skydiving career spanning seven continents and the geographic North Pole. With more than 20,000 jumps over three decades, Omar has made history by setting numerous world records, three Guinness World Records, and winning multiple skydiving World Champion titles. Alhegelan also played a key role in pioneering the discipline of "freeflying" in the 1990s as a member of the Freefly Clowns.
His accomplishments and passion for the sport led to his induction into the International Skydiving Museum and Hall of Fame in 2021. Omar prides himself first and foremost as a Father and Husband then as a skydiver, BASE jumper, photographer, painter, aerial stuntman, actor, and NLP practitioner, showcasing his versatility and creativity in the air and on the ground.
As a respected leader, Mr. Alhegelan holds several prominent positions, including Chairman of the board of trustees and President of the Saudi Arabian Extreme Sports Federation, where he promotes and develops extreme sports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As Vice President of the ISC, the FAI's skydiving arm, he contributes to the growth and recognition of competitive skydiving internationally.
