Altaf Hussain Haji (ISS) hails from Qazipora Bandipora Jammu and Kashmir India, having 21+ years experience of administration, management and monitoring of conducting government surveys of various Soecio-economic subjects matters of National Statistical Office (NSO). He has done M.Sc. (Statistics) & B.Ed. from University of Kashmir Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir India and PGDCA from CMC New Delhi. He is the officer of Indian Statistical Service (ISS), batch 2001 and presently working as Deputy Director General (DDG), National Statistical Office (Field Operations Division), Regional Office Shimla, State Himachal Pradesh, India.He has good number of papers on statistics and published over and above 70 important articles based on NSS data, 6 books and 27 papers in reference to need as per Statistical data. He has visited officially from Government of India to the Netherlands of knowing the Statistical System of Netherlands. He has experiences of number of the Official Statistics seminars, conference and attended the official Statistics courses from IMF,UNSIAP, UNSD, etc. during his statistical career at national and international level.
