Narasimha Prabhu M, founder of the Light of the SELF Foundation, better known as Sri Prabhuji, had the fortune of gaining the wisdom of Yoga and Vedanta from an early age. Inspired by the teachings of his Guru Sri Putturu Ajja, he is serving society by giving thousands of talks on Vedanta and conducting a number of spiritual retreats and meditation sessions.
After completing M.Tech from IIT Mumbai, Sri Prabhuji worked in the software industry for 30 years. He has now dedicated his life to teaching Vedanta to innumerable seekers. His teachings have inspired many to undertake the path of SELF-enquiry and spiritual journey.
Inspired by the vedic dictum atmano mokshartham, jagad hitaya cha ( SELF Realization and Selfless Service), many members of the Light of the SELF foundation (Atmajyotis) participate enthusiastically in many service activities of jnāna yajna, like the study of Vedanta and Bhagavad Gita, practicing yoga, engaging in SELF enquiry, chanting of Veda mantras, Japa Yoga and Bhajan.
All these programs are offered by Light of the SELF Foundation under the umbrella of ‘Atmajyoti Vishwa Gurukulam’. The programs are of interest to all age groups. iLead is one such leadership development program for children.
Light of the SELF foundation is a non-commercial, not for profit organization. All activities are conducted by service minded volunteers, Atmajyotis, as service to society. We hope many people benefit from its offerings.
