Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThis SOP manual, curated by Dr. Bhushan and Dr. Shweta, outlines key practices in a Clinical Pathology Laboratory to ensure quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Covering diagnostic procedures like urine analysis, stool-examination, body-fluid tests, semen-analysis and special-allied tests, it also includes quality assurance measures such as delta checks, IQC, TAT, sample rejection, and discarding protocols. Emphasizing laboratory safety, equipment calibration, contingency plans, and outsourcing to NABL-accredited labs, the manual aligns with NABL-112, NABH (6th edition), and ISO 15189 standards. Designed as an essential training and operational resource for DMLT, BPMT, and MD Pathology students, it supports consistent service delivery and audit readiness. Reflecting Swami Vivekananda’s words—“All knowledge that the world has ever received comes from the mind”—this manual embodies a commitment to excellence in clinical pathology through structured, mindful practice.
