Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalRaid on the Evil Dragon Nest is first in The Adventures on Doryu series.
Doryu, fictional, beautiful, green planet is located on the far side of the Milky Way.
Once upon a time Doryu was in the same solar system as earth. In fact, it was known as the sister planet. However, the Evil Dragons who wanted to rule Doryu, dragged the planet to the far side of the Milky Way. They did this because the earthlings always helped the Doryuans defeat the Evil Dragons.
This series is about how the young Princes of the countries of Pymra and Princesses of the Great Seas in Doryu, along with the other beings, have helped save the planet from the rule of the Evil Dragons.
An exciting new original series by traveller and writer Girish Khare, via the fictional personality of Commander Maddox Hatter aka the Madhatter. Beautifully illustrated by Saurabh Shrivastava, the Art Director, who has been associated with the author for more than 20 years, working on various creative projects together. They have created a world of pure fantasy much to the delight of children between the ages of 7 and 14 approximately. The series is currently running as an online digital event available as VoD on Paytm Insider.
Each story stretches the bright mind of the children of today and has already fascinated children across India and elsewhere. A must read for your child.

Girish Khare, a former corporate professional, was born in Kolkata of mixed racial parentage. His father was from Uttar Pradesh, North India and mother was half British and half Spanish. Moved to Mumbai where he met and married a south Mumbai Gujarati girl. He followed in the footsteps of his six siblings, who are scattered across the globe, each have married folk from different Indian communities, religions, languages and occupations. The second and third generation, siblings and cousins have taken the mix to another level by marrying folk from Greece, US, UK, Thailand, Kenya, Australia, Ireland, and other countries. They are all still very connected despite the distance, even meeting up on occasions.
Girish spent several years travelling across the world, writing stories on the culture, language and habits of people of different races. From the Forests of Borneo to the deserts of the Sinai, North Africa. From the Seas of Mediterranean to the heights of Nepalese Himalayas. From learning to ride an elephant in Chitwan to tiger counting in Bandhavgarh.
Khare is now the lucky grandfather of two beautiful granddaughters. Their incessant need to hear accounts of his adventures and encounters gave birth to the magical, imaginary, planet of Doryu ; a place where he could play out all their fantastic dreams. A place where every child loves to live, learn and grow… their imagination. From simple, ordinary, Zoom sessions during the pandemic lock down, The Adventures on Doryu became an online storytelling Video on Demand event served up on the Insider platform. The show has visual effects, footage and great sound effects. This not just for his grandchildren but their friends and their friends’ friends. Now many more from elsewhere across India, US and Indonesia have become addicted to The Adventures on Doryu. Several episodes later, it is growing by the episode.
The book is a natural progression but more a demand by the children as a means to acquirea hard copy account of every episode. Every episode will have its own book title.
The choice of Art Director, Saurabh Shrivastava was a comfort level decision. Saurabh has worked with the author and other educationalists on children related projects. He is in his own right an experienced art director and among the few who have continued the learning process, an avid believer that art is the expression of the man or woman within.
