MY VISION

Each and every cinema is a history of human expressions on this planet and our reactions to nature on this planet.  It is a catalogue of events, thoughts, concepts and dreams.  Cinema is futuristic and because it is as well the past, it captures the present moment, it is created in the moment while involving the future of the past.  Imagination is a gift.  Life is a blessing.  Tragedy is mystic.  Love is immortal and forever blending into many different forms.  Cinema captures all aspects of the human existence.  Some films portrays the best parts of our lives while others validate the darker side of our existence.

The true gift of a filmmaker is to balance all of these throughout their film.  For some film making is one-dimensional but for the greats it is multi dimensional.  Happiness is developed by thoughts and laughter through the execution of these thoughts.  Filmmakers reveal the joy and since joy is transcendental it will be interpreted in many forms, past, present and future as well as happiness, sadness, love and every other human emotion that makes up our stories.

I am an artist, writer, and film director with over 25 years in the entertainment industry. I have directed documentaries, TV shows, and short films, often serving as a cinematographer, screenwriter, and producer. Notably, I portrayed Dracula in Indian TV shows and am currently working on Vampire Rawhide, a Hollywood film in pre-production. As a director, I created the documentary The Cinema: A Brief History, shot in Hollywood, slated for a 2025 release. I also adapted Bram Stoker’s Dracula for South Indian TV series in 2005 and 2007, gaining recognition for my work on Dracula themes, documented under my pen name, Wins Deus. I have crafted numerous paintings, sculptures, and graphic designs, often inspired by mythology, Shakespeare, nature, and futuristic concepts. My work reflects a deep fascination with American culture, traditional farming, and themes like artificial intelligence and space exploration. Graduating from the College of Fine Arts in Kerala, I contributed to television documentaries for channels like Doordarshan and Asianet and trained in cinematography and stereography in the USA. I split my time between Los Angeles, New York, and other inspirational locations, focusing on completing my screenplays and art projects. I am the son of K. Devadasan, a decorated military officer, and D. Sasikala, an award-winning educator. I share familial ties with R. Sankar, Kerala’s former Chief Minister, and Sri Narayana Guru, India’s revered social reformer. If u need a short description only, use this
