Vidiadhar Surajprasad Naipaul was born in Chaguanas, Trinidad on 17th August 1932. His grandfather worked on a sugarcane plantation and his father was a journalist and writer, while his uncle Rudranath Capildeo was a noted scientist and politician. V.S. Naipaul studied at Queen's Royal College in Port of Spain where he won a scholarship to the University College at Oxford. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1953, and travelled to England after receiving an award. He travelled far and wide in Asia, Africa and America. He was employed as a free- lance journalist by the BBC and devoted entirely to writing.
He is considered the leading novelist of the English-Speaking Caribbean, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature, in 2001, Naipaul is a third generation descendant of a family of Brahmin pundits from Uttar Pradesh, India. His writings consist mainly of novels and short stories, but also include some documentary work.

She worked as an English teacher in St Joseph's Convent Senior Secondary School Sagar MP from 1989 to 2004 and then selected by MPPSC as Assistant Professor English in 2004.Her working experience as teacher in private school was for 15 years and in Government College is 18 years. She has attended many seminars, workshops and Conferences in different colleges of the M.P. on various burning issues.She is invited as a resource person in English seminars conducted in colleges and delivered expert lectures on various topics in the college and outside the college. Presently she is nominated as State Level NAAC CO-ordinator and Master Facilitator by the Deptt.of Higher Education Madhya Pradesh fo colleges to be Accreditated by NAAC Bengaluru.
