Sumita Sriram
Sumita Sriram is a Senior HR Advisor and author with nearly two decades of experience building people strategies across Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Africa. She has worked across industries as diverse as mining, manufacturing, technology, Energy, and consulting services - advising organisations ranging from early-stage startups to large multinational enterprises on how to attract, develop, and retain talent in rapidly changing environments.
A practitioner first and a theorist second, Sumita has spent her career on the ground - in IT corridors, on factory shopfloors, in boardrooms, and in canteens - listening to the people that HR policies are supposed to serve. That field experience shapes everything she writes. She is a passionate advocate for making HR a genuine strategic function rather than a compliance exercise, and for building workplaces where every generation - from the most seasoned leader to the newest fresher - can do their best work. She is the Founder of Palo Santo Consulting.
