Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThe Time-Teller’s Diet ™
"What if the best diet isn’t a choice between extremes—but a rediscovery?"
This isn’t a book about what to eliminate. It’s about relearning a language your body has always spoken.
Across cultures and centuries, one truth persists: food is meant to connect, not confine. The Time-Teller’s Diet blends Ayurvedic wisdom and modern science to help you:
* Eat like your environment – whether your pantry holds monsoon-grown greens or winter-preserved staples.
* Honor cravings as clues – decoding what your body truly needs beneath fleeting desires.
* Cook without categories – where meals are neither "good" nor "bad," but responses to your energy, season, and ancestry.
* Let time guide you – syncing with circadian rhythms, lunar cycles, and your personal vitality tides.
With principles, not prescriptions, you’ll explore:
✓ Why ancestral food traditions hold timeless clues to wellness
✓ How to nourish yourself without labels or guilt
✓ When to embrace tradition—and when to evolve it
For anyone tired of:
• Being told to eat "this, not that"
• Diets that ignore heritage, climate, and joy
• One-size-fits-all wellness advice
This is an invitation to a quieter kind of food wisdom—one that honors both your roots and your modern life.

Krrtuja Zanane is the Founder and Chief Dietitian at Dhi Nutri with dual Master’s degrees in Nutrition & Food Science with Ayurveda Specialization (India) and Sports & Exercise Nutrition (United Kingdom). Although, she also has her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics – Clinical Dietician (India), she carries numerous specialized relevant certifications in Pregnancy & Breast Feeding, Child Nutrition & Cooking, Diabetes & Obesity, Clean Sport Anti-Doping & several others. She has spent over a decade designing personalized dietary plans and building healthy plates for clients across 15+ countries, from corporate leaders to rural communities.
Her work began simply: watching how her own grandmother used seasonal ingredients and everyday spices as medicine. This grew into Dhi Nutri's practice of blending ancient wisdom with contemporary needs, and inspired years of travel documenting how traditional diets prevent disease and sustain communities.
What started as curiosity became a mission: to protect disappearing food knowledge before it's lost. Through Dhi Nutri, she trains practitioners, preserves tribal recipes, and helps urban families reconnect with ancestral eating patterns - not as a recollection, but as practical modern health solutions.
Krrtuja is now preparing for PhD research because, as she puts it, "Even timeless wisdom benefits from peer review." When not fermenting heirloom recipes or hosting her podcast Dhi Nutri, she’s likely tracking how a single mango variety affects three generations of gut health in her own family.
The Time-Teller's Diet is her manifesto: that eating with nature's rhythms isn't nostalgic – it's how our bodies evolved to thrive. It gathers these lessons - not as rigid rules, but as an invitation to eat like we belong to the earth.
