Samiran Kumar Paul is currently a professor and the Head of the University Department of English of B R Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. He has been teaching for forty years and has authored six books on different genres. He contributed reviews and columns to The Indian Nation, the first leading English daily of Bihar, from 1982 to 1999 as a freelancer. He has also edited and contributed to several research articles in books and journals in English. He has even written two anthologies of Hindi poems.
