In a paranoid world

Life was uncertain
So was love.
As the death toll rose
Headlines burped
Into their senses
From an incapacitated surrounding
That spelled nothing
But infinite helplessness.
Doomsday was near.
Sanitising their hands

cities not having smogs
roads are clean and wiped
honking couldn't be heard of
the city leaves could feel their shine
dry leaves aren't too dry anymore
