Food allergies and food intolerances are on a rise especially post pandemic due to dysbiosis (shift in the gut organisms). I myself am intolerant to a lot of common foods that we eat like gluten, milk/dairy, egg, nuts-seeds and pulses-lentils which makes it very difficult to make food choices. In this scenario, a vegetarian finds it hard to find alternative-healthier options.
This book acts as a helping hand to the vegetarians who are intolerant to certain food items as it consists of recipes which were re-defined and re-explored with the help of my Dietitian Ms Sharanya Shastry who made sure that nutritional value and taste was not compromised.
