Lavanya Kalikivayi, Venkataramana Kalikivayi
Lavanya Kalikivayi is currently working as Assistant Professor at Ahalia School of Optometry, Palakkad. She graduated Baccalaureate in Optometry in 1995 at “Elite School of Optometry” and later completed her fellowship in L.V.Prasad Eye Institute in 1996. She has extensive experience in the field of Clinical Optometry spanning over 23 years and later completed her Masters of Optometry. During these years of clinical practice, she has continuously improved her skills while contributing tremendously to the academics of the field. Her most notable contribution to the field of Optometry includes 4 research publications. She is also a member of the “International Association of Contact Lens Educators” (IACLE).
Venkataramana Kalikivayi is currently working as Head of the Department at Ahalia School of Optometry, Palakkad. He graduated Baccalaureate in Optometry in 1993 at “Elite School of Optometry” and later completed his fellowship in L.V.Prasad Eye Institute in 1994. He is pursuing Ph.D. at SASTRA University through a DST sponsored research project of “Sankara Nethralaya” and “Indian Institute of Technology Madras”. He has built his career spanning over 25 years contributing to numerous avenues with regards to research, academics and clinical expertise in the field of Optometry. He has written over 18 international research publications leaving an indelible mark on the academics in the field of Optometry. He is also a member of the “International Association of Contact Lens Educators” (IACLE). He is also a peer reviewer for 2 international SCI-indexed journals.
