Rural Agriculture Work Experience and Agro-Industrial Attachment is an essential course for those studying agriculture in different Universities. Through this subject, they can get an idea about the lifestyle of the rural people and they can employ themselves in various fields as professional agricultural extension workers in future. So based on this thought some students started their journey in the Cooch Behar district in 2021 and through this journey, they documented various activities of rural people, agriculture and agro-based industries. Keeping in mind the students of the agriculture department, we consider the publication of these recorded parts which will serve as a guide for future students of agriculture and give an initial idea of how to do Rural Agricultural Work Experience and Agro-Industrial Attachment and what are its methods. Dr. Ganesh Das is the Subject Matter Specialist (Agricultural Extension) of the Cooch Behar Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Pundibari, Cooch Behar, West Bengal – 736165. He was also the Farm Tele Advisor in Kisan Call Centre under the Department of Agriculture & Cooperation (DAC), Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India. He has more than 9 years of extension work experience. He has authored three books and contributed chapters in 6 books. He has published more than 100 research, review and technical articles.
Ayshee Biswas passed B.Sc. (Agriculture) from Uttaranchal University Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Her native place in Kolkata, West Bengal. She presently doing MBA from, the Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur, Uttarakhand
