Weirdly, brotherhood call and Priestly vocations are declining. Brotherhood is a choice. Others cannot amend or impose it. The Second Vatican Council considers the lay consecration of men and women a state. Aside from the holy ministry, it has intrinsic value for the individual and the Church. The Salesian Brother has a special obligation when the priest is holy or cultic. His consecrated existence emphasises God's presence and faith. Timing is his Salesian heart's root.
