Prasanna Udipikar holds MA., MPhil., PGDELT., degrees with Indian Writing in English as her specialization. Besides teaching under graduate students at VVN Degree College, Bangalore and Govt. First Grade College Hoskote, Bangalore, she is involved in supporting visually challenged students by providing voice recorded audio cassettes, scribes, personal counseling and academic assistance. She was instrumental in setting up Bangalore University Braille Resource Centre. Her articles are published in dailies and broadcasted in All India Radio. She is a Green Ambassador contributing her share in preserving and enhancing environment. Exemplary Performance Award was conferred on her by WNES, Mangalore.
