Vidyadhar Durgekar
Vidyadhar Durgekar is an engineer by qualification and a Management System Auditor by profession. He is a novelist and poet by spiritual benevolence. He started his career in the Indian Coast Guard as Assistant Commandant. Having sailed the ocean for more than a decade and then hanging his boots, he joined corporates in India and abroad before settling down in Bangalore.
His articles, papers and poetry have been published in magazines, and he has two novels to his credit. His first novel, Sale of Souls, is widely acclaimed for its challenging theme of the conflicts between development and poverty. His second novel, Cricket Is My Religion and Sachin Our God, is known for its explosive theme of sports and religion.
