There is a saying: ‘Do what you love in life.’ But I often found myself as just another person caught in the rat race—studying hard, doing an MBA, then planning for a job, and enjoying life on weekends, just like my parents wanted. Yet deep down, I always felt like there should be something more, something that truly motivates me to enjoy life, not just go through the motions.
Even though I discovered my passion for writing during my MBA, I realized that my love for creating things had always been there, ever since I was a kid. I used to craft imaginary characters and dream up stories—it made me feel like I was doing something worthy. Writing, for me, has become a journey of self-discovery.
I still remember when I started my very first story. I did not know much about writing then, but I sat down to craft a sweet romantic tale, without the slightest clue of how it would end. I just let the words lead me, going with the flow. And guess what? Before I even realized it, that romance had twisted into a murder mystery! That is the magic of writing—sometimes, the story takes on a life of its own.
