Anupama Bahadur was born and brought up in the culturally rich backdrop of a Bengali family in the holy city of Allahabad. After getting her Master’s degree in Biochemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, she chose an Army Officer over an independent carrier and continues to be wedded to the olive green for the last 25 years. Within the realms of the topsy-turvy life of armed forces, she has managed to balance being a homemaker and teaching the army brats at various Army Public Schools across the country. She has a range of interests such as music, reading, swimming and writing. Her contributions to the school magazine have won her many accolades, finally encouraging her to pen down her musings in her first effort as Chai Break.
