Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalEver wondered what would be our world like if the clouds were living entities?
How would they see the lives of human beings? Drawing inspiration from the work of Kalidas’ Meghdoot—the first literary masterpiece about Clouds—this novelette plays around the personification of a cloud, named Cludo.
Unlike numerous stories that include a mere reference of these natural entities, Cludo will take you on a rollercoaster ride as our fluffy protagonist tries to decipher the human nature in its cruellest form. With Aero, a friend-cum-seer, how he navigates his way through various hurdles in the pursuit of a baby’s happiness.
Let’s embark on a journey with Cludo to observe our world from the eyes of an outsider, who is never very far!

You are not using your name on your Book? I kept quite there was no easy answer.
Okay! but why?
“At the end he stood and kept his attachments aside
At the end he raised and then abandoned his desires
At the end he met his wishes and then brushed them away
At the end he was overwhelmed, but left his sorrows behind
As he walked, he found himself being stared at
One was he-himself and the other was his name
And then he chose to walk with himself
and left his name alone”
Anyways, why choose Nemo?
“On a lazy afternoon under the scorching sun, a group of bachelors were in search for a residence in an unknown city. After what looked like an eternity, they found one and moved in with their paraphernalia. There they embarked on a journey.
This group of strangers turned friends and as a tradition everyone earned a new pet name: like Mr PM, Poor Citizen, Uncle and so on. The one allocated to me was ‘Nemo’. Somewhere I made a secret pact that this tradition should continue and choosing this as the pen name is a tribute to the moments which comes in everyone’s life when we are looking for a career, companionship, direction and above all hope.”
Nemo is for all those who have searched and found. But they keep looking, till their journeys continue. Share your life journey with me at sweetnsourabh@gmail.com
