Dr. Sunil Punjabi
On the wrong side of 50, Sunil Punjabi is an ex-media professional living in Mumbai. Being always interested in psychology and writing, fate played a joke on him when he was forced to become a caregiver to an OCD sufferer. To help his wife, he gave up his media career and got a Masters in Clinical Psychology and subsequently, a doctorate. He is a full-fledged mental health professional now, helping people with OCD and other mental health struggles reclaim their lives.
This is his first book, where he chronicles the trials and tribulations, the successes and failures, and the hits and misses of dealing with a mental disorder in the family. He is also currently writing a self-help book series for dealing with various sub-types of OCD from the comfort of home.
He is a sociable person with varied interests and loves reading, standup comedy, Grammar Nazism (including the Oxford comma), and adventure sports. He lives a full life in Mumbai with his wife and son.
