Dr. Ravi Babu Birudu is currently pursuing his second PhD in the Department of Zoology in Acharya Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh, India. He received his Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology, Master of Science (Zoology, Aquaculture), Master of Technology (Biotechnology) and Bachelor of Science degrees from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur; and a Master of Science (Environmental Sciences) degree from Shobit University, Lucknow. He has qualified UGC-CSIR-NET (Life Sciences), UGC-NET-JRF (Environment Sciences), GATE (Ecology & Evolution), ASRB-NET (Aquaculture), ASRB-NET (Environmental Sciences), APSET (Life Sciences), and APSET (Environmental Sciences). He has over 6 years of experience in research in the area of diabetes. He has published 18 articles in various national & international journals and attended & presented papers in 20 national seminars and 10 international conferences.
Dr. P. Padmavathi is currently associated with the Department of Zoology, Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Nagarjuna Nagar, A.P. as an Assistant Professor. She has 25 years of teaching experience. Under her guidance four students completed their MPhil Research work. Presently she is guiding six students for PhD and four students for MPhil. She has published 53 research papers in the fields of Biodiversity, Aquatic Biology, Aquaculture, Limnology and Toxicology. Along with this research publication, she has edited six books and contributed as an author in 13 books. She has also attended and presented research papers in 125 conferences.
