Everyone needs energy. All movements and all motions e.g. running, walking, eating, reading, writing etc. need energy. Energy is the currency of doing any work. In fact all matter is energy. But energy cannot be created; energy can change its form. Energy of flowing water can be converted to electrical energy. Further, electrical energy can be transformed into mechanical energy. Light is energy, similarly heat is energy, sound is energy and so on. The source of energy is the sun. All plants receive energy from the sun and transfer it to the farm products that we eat as food which gives us energy. Energetic means the study of energy. Bioenergetics is the study of living things. Every living thing uses energy. But each uses it in different ways.
