Dr. S. Sekar is working as Assistant Professor (Agricultural Entomology) in RVS Agricultural College, Thanjavur. He has completed his masters and Ph.D. from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. He is well experience in Host Plant Resistance, Beekeeping, Biological Control, Molecular Taxonomy, Molecular Breeding and QTLs mapping for insect resistance. He secured Student SRF during his Doctoral Program. He also well expertizes in conducting training to the farmers regarding IPM and Beekeeping. He has published over 20 research articles, 20 popular articles, 3 books and 6 book chapters
